Affectionately referred to as a ‘Big Healey’, this car was built between December 19th – 21st, 1966 being despatched from the Austin Motor Company factory in Abingdon, England, to Hamilton, Ontario in Canada on January 6th 1967.
In 1989 it was shipped back to the UK and, after a complete bodywork rebuild, it was put back on the road in December 1990. Distinctive colours of Colorado red over black and sparkling wire wheels make it a very eye-catching car and it performs well with a lovely exhaust note while accelerating up through the gears.
A very enjoyable car to drive, it even has two very small children’s seats in the rear – only suitable for very small children.
